Vintage Antique Whitehead & Hoag NC Historical Commission Medallion Metal Pin. Two piece connected by a large link chains. Historical Commission NC Badge. Ornate brass tone metal, 1.4oz. Top is embossed scrolled rectangular metal with 'Historical Commission' text on plastic. Bottom is embossed scroll round medallion with raised center with the North Carolina Commissioners 1607/1907 coat of arms seal. Back is signed Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, NJ Pat Applied For. C catch pin closure. 2 1/4" across x 3 1/8" long. Good vintage condition. Shows wear due to age. Patina on the metal. Scuffs and scratches. The graphics have discolored with age.
