Elgin American compact from 1940 or possibly 1950s. Still in original box with original pamphlet, and bag with price tag still attached. Pristine, never used. No powder was ever placed in the compact, so the sponge has no stains. Very rare to find a vintage compact like this unused and in such great condition.
