So I put it through what I would feel is the field of tests it should be. Both am and fm radio work. Tape player works great. The alarm went off when I set the time and was functional. Snooze button works but did stick initially but that’s more then likely due to
Lack of being used. After I gently pressed a tad harder it worked out and is springy like it should be.
Only flaws I can find is the dim display is touchy. It is functional but temperamental and will just black out while turning it. Also I’m not sure if this model had a backlit tuning needle when it was first new to the market ( think like the old backlit marantz style) but if it did that isn’t working.
Also alas I do not have a 1/4 set of headphone to test out the headphone jack. In this world of
Bluetooth and usb c they are kinda hard to just keep around but I would guess that functions as it should. This came from a very wealthy and very clean estate.
