This offer is for an exquisite, vintage, gold-trimmed, porcelain, lidded soup tureen (no ladle) with embossed handles, from Charles Field Haviland, Limoges, France. The design has delicate clusters of light pink flowers and pastel green leaves on white and features a scalloped bowl and footed base. It is in beautiful condition given its age, with no cracks, repairs, discoloration, or crazing seen; but there are two small chips on the inside rim of the bowl. A search engine exercise dates this piece to possibly 1941 based on the GDA manufacturer and designer backmarks. It is a gorgeous, beautifully detailed bowl reminiscent of times past. It would make an excellent addition to your collection, a replacement piece, or a very fine gift.
It measures 12.5 inches handle-to-handle and 6.5 inches high to the handle top. The tureen bowl portion is 4 inches high.
