Offered is an original vintage Boy Scouts of America (BSA) “Armstrong Scott” achievement patch, dating to the mid-1960s Space Race era.
This patch commemorates the Gemini 8 mission (1966) flown by Neil Armstrong and David Scott, and was issued as part of a local Scout council space-themed advancement or achievement program. The Roman numerals I–V represent progressive achievement levels, with a colorful space-capsule design reflecting the excitement of early U.S. space exploration.
