I purchased this tree previously (see first 2 pictures) and the “gold” is nicotine. I have cleaned some branches and purchased new sleeves to be used for all the branches (photos 5&6).
I am accepting defeat on never cleaning them all. They have been stored in a smoke free home and do not smell like smoke.
I did not assemble the tree nor verify the branch count as provided in the description in photo 2.
I measured the shipping box (31”x21”x11”) and weighed it (12#) and this is the cheapest shipping option via Mercari.
