Authentic Victorian English child's transferware nursery set, dating to the mid- to late-1800s.
This set features seven miniature rectangular plates and a matching creamer, decorated with a beautiful blue chinoiserie landscape pattern inspired by Chinese export porcelain. The creamer bears the "CLEW WARRANTED" stamp, a period English retailer mark commonly found on quality Victorian wares.
Originally made for children's tea service in Victorian nurseries, pieces like this are now sought after for both collecting and decorative display.
