The "Jetstream Edge," released in December 2019, has been well-received for its new design specialized for fine writing and its 0.28mm※ ultra-fine ballpoint, the first in the world for oil-based ballpoint pens. It achieved its annual sales target within five months of release and has continued to perform well. This is thought to be because the pen's features, such as its design and focus on ultra-fine writing, have made it recognized as a "specialized tool for writing fine lines."
This time, we are introducing the "Jetstream Edge 3," a 3-color model that maintains the "Edge-like" features of sharp functionality and design, while also focusing on operability.
The biggest feature is the realization of stable writing feel, similar to a single-color pen, despite being a multi-color ballpoint pen, by adopting a new operating method, mechanism, and shape.
We have newly developed the "Spiro-Tech mechanism," which allows the three ink refills to rotate and extend by turning the dial at the end, allowing you to always have the refill of the color you want to use in a fixed position.
At the same time, by incorporating the new asymmetrical eccentric "Point Nose" shape at the pen tip, we have made it possible for the refill to always come straight out towards the pen tip relative to the pen body.
In terms of design, we have created a new form, and stylishly expressed the sharp image of the 0.28mm line width.
This product is for those who want to use three colors of ink in one pen, even with ultra-fine lines, and still experience the "Edge" features.
