The designer, Puffy Reid, has an Irish grandmother. She was a wonderful knitter, and she passed on her knowledge and passion to her father, who started his career selling tweed and Aran from his hometown of Donegal, Ireland, and made high-quality knitwear from Ireland and Scotland his life's work. And with the idea that it is a legacy of time, skills, and knowledge that should be cherished, her daughter also started a knitwear brand in 2013.
