The Shure ULXD8=-H50 is a base transmitter that brings digital wireless freedom to Microflex gooseneck microphones operating in the H50 spectrum between 534 and 598 MHz. It delivers 24 bit audio at a 48 kHz sample rate and keeps latency under 3 milliseconds, so speech stays clear and locked in time with video or other live sources.
Use it anywhere a wired mic stand would clutter the space or slow down a room reset. In large boardrooms, council chambers, and lecture halls, the transmitter lets presenters place a microphone exactly where it is needed without running cables under tables. Up to 90 transmitters can share the same frequency band, which is ideal for multi-seat panels and breakout rooms that must run simultaneously.
RF output power is selectable at 1, 10, or 20 mW, giving you flexibility to conserve battery life or push for extra range. Infrared sync ties the unit to any Shure ULX-D or QLX-D receiver in seconds, while AES 256-bit encryption keeps private discussions secure.
Power options match the pace of your schedule. Two AA batteries provide up to eight hours of run time, and the optional SB900A lithium-ion pack extends operation beyond nine hours. When the meeting wraps, slide the transmitter into an SBC450 or SBC850 docking charger through the built-in USB-A port and it will be ready for the next session.
A front-panel mute switch with a bright status LED can be programmed for toggle, push-to-talk, or push-to-mute behavior, so each speaker gets intuitive control. The chassis accepts Microflex MX405, MX410, and MX415 goosenecks, giving you a range of lengths and polar patterns to suit podiums, dais seating, or conference tables.
