The story begins in Kishiwada in September 1924 (Taisho 13), early in the morning of the first day of the Kishiwada Danjiri Festival, as the protagonist sees off her father who is participating in the festival. The Danjiri Festival scenes were filmed with the cooperation of Gokenyacho, Kishiwada City, using a real Danjiri cart transported to the Toei Kyoto Studio Park set.
As a morning drama, it was the first to be filmed entirely with progressive cameras, using images with a film-like quality, similar to historical dramas on the same channel, including recent Taiga dramas.
