Our reeds are professional-level reeds, made in the American style, with blended scrape; V shaped tip (somewhat horizontal, like in the picture), ample heart, thick and strong spine and side rails, and well defined windows. They are very comfortable, with a stable pitch, outstanding low and high registers, dark sound and great projection.
Projection is key: many reeds out there have a very small sound.
Of course, you may sound great in your practice room, but how about in the middle of a 50-member orchestra? Our oboe reeds are dark-sounding, yet CUT THROUGH any orchestras or ensembles.
