Os Lusíadas" by Luís de Camões, published by Porto Editora in 1973. This work is considered one of the most important in Portuguese literature, narrating the maritime adventures of the Portuguese during the Age of Discovery, focusing on Vasco da Gama's trip to India.

"Os Lusíadas" is an epic poem composed of ten songs, with 1,102 stanzas and 8,816 verses. The work exalts the heroism of the Portuguese people and the challenges overcome throughout their conquests. Camões uses mythical and historical figures to enrich the narrative, which is divided between the narration of Vasco da Gama's journey and the history of Portugal.

The work is dedicated to King D. Sebastião, to whom Camões entrusts the continuation of Portuguese glories and achievements. The 1973 edition of Porto Editora is one of the many publications of this work, which continues to be relevant and studied today
