Beautiful retro piece! I bought it brand new, only tried it on once (as pictured), and it's been in storage ever since.
The pockets are huge and deep! The removable waist ties are on through velcro, and there are belt loops on the piece so you can use other types of belts to change up the look.
I would say the measurements on this piece are smaller than the ones listed on Lolibrary (Maybe this was released in multiple sizes, as this says Size 9). Below are my recommended:
