A lovely set of 23 wooden coins/counters. This set includes numbers 1-20 and 5 basic maths symbols. Numbers 11-20 are double-sided with extra single digits (1-9) on the back, and two of the symbol counters are also double-sided. Perfect for simple counting and early sums. Later, numbers can be put together to create bigger ones. Combine with other educational aids (sticks, stones, Grapat mandalas etc) to create matching, counting and other mathematical games. Stack, count and play to encourage mathematics skills. Suitable for a wide range of ages, from strictly ages 3 and up. These have a diameter of 3.7cm approx, and are approx 0.3cm thick. Very lightweight! Compatible with the Montessori method parenting / teaching approaches due to natural materials. New and unused without any tags or plastic packaging. I'll provide a natural canvas drawstring bag so that you don't lose any of your counters in between play. Made from untreated solid beech wood.
