Mitered Prisms Flint Celery Circa 1800s Trump Pattern. It is very rare to find this dish with a lid, usually lids were featured on the biscuit jars but those usually did not have handles like this. The sugar dish that was made in this set is the only sugar dish with two handles as well.

This is in good condition, but there is one tiny chip on the lip - this can be seen in photos and is reflected in the pricing of this dish. Made by the Model Flint Glass Co. of Findley, OH circa 1891. The company moved to Albany Indiana in 1893 and in 1899 they became part of the National Glass Co. The 6.5" deep tableware is in good condition and it is very rare to find this with a lid. Flint glass will glow under a black light because of the chemical makeup of the glass, this is most likely due to manganese that was used during this time to create a crystal clear glass.

Approximate Measurements:
Height w/o Lid - 6.5 in
Height w/ Lid - 9 in
Width - 3.5 in
Weight - about 2 lbs (1 lb 15.1 oz)
