The opal was mined high on the continental divide near Yellowstone Park in Idaho. This Opal truly is a rainbow of color.
Carefully chipped out of a rock and cut into a precious Gem by hand. This opal is an Opal Triplet. This means it has a quartz cap on top and a layer of backing, which protects the opal from chiping or breaking. This Opal requires little or no care and can be cleaned with soap and water. Keep away from strong cleaning agents.
