Cute vintage handmade Faberge-style egg Christmas decoration from the 1970's. Made from a duck or goose egg, it is decorated with snowman decals, gold braid, "seed pearls" and glitter snowflakes. When the hinged door is opened, it reveals another snowman figure in a winter wonderland. This may have been a craftsman kit, as the egg contains a music box that plays Frosty the Snowman. The egg sits on a metal stand for display, or it could be hung from the Christmas tree like an ornament. On the stand, the decoration is about 6" H x 2 1/2" W. Music box works. The ornament is in good used vintage condition.
