The Original Monty, which follows the design of the duffle coat worn by Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery during World War II.
It features three wooden toggles and jute rope fasteners slightly off-center.
Made of a coarse Italian wool blend felt, with cotton herringbone webbing tape sewn on for reinforcement where needed.
The chin strap is slightly large, and the hood has snap buttons on the sides, allowing for size adjustment when worn.
Inside the body, there is a name tag and strap, remnants of military use, where you can write your name.
The strap can be wrapped around the thighs to prevent flapping. This is a rare coat that can last for decades.

Five years after the end of World War II, Harold and Freda, wholesalers of gloves and overalls, received a supply of surplus military duffle coats.
They decided to start producing duffle coats and establish a company after they quickly sold at a store that handled camping goods and leisure wear.
That was the beginning of Gloverall.
Due to the cancellation of the construction of a new factory in London, a factory was built in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire in 1962.
Demand expanded, and sales expanded to Europe, as well as Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
By the late 1960s, it was sold in over 40 countries worldwide.
