I purchased this at Ginza Itoya a few years ago and used it a little right after. It appears to be in excellent condition with no scratches or stains. I cleaned it and stored it in a pen case, and haven't used it much since.
Due to the rise in gold prices, fountain pen manufacturers are reviewing their retail standard prices (the Pilot Custom 74 has now increased to ¥27,500).
This is a classic fountain pen. I will include the ink converter con-70 (larger capacity than con-40) and a pen case (PILOT) as shown in the photos. I hope someone will find it useful.
