Doolittle Tokyo Raid Set B-25B And Carrier USS Hornet Plastic Model Kit Revell.
READ: The box is signed by Lt. Col. Dick Cole, who was the co-pilot of Jimmy Dolittle on the first airplane to took off from the Hornet carrier in April 1942. He was the last survivor of the Raiders and passed away in 2019. I'm including a few newsletter notes about his bio and his 100th birthday celebration. The kit has his airplane to build it in 1/72. The Hornet carrier model is on scale 1/426.
The box is ALSO signed by General Frank Gailer Jr., P-51 Mustang pilot ace in 1944 in the ETO. He passed away in 2018.
For your reference, I'm adding a photo of Col. Dick Cole, Gral. Frank Gailer (both seated) with Gral. Steve Ritchie (F-4 ace in Vietnam), that I took in 2015 in San Antonio, Texas.
