The Bose 768938-0210 is a wall mounted zone controller that gives staff a quick, reliable way to manage volume and choose between two audio sources in a single zone. Designed to work seamlessly with Bose FreeSpace amplifiers, PowerShare amplifiers, and ControlSpace processors, it places essential control right where you need it rather than at the rack.
Its large rotary control uses a linear potentiometer so every twist feels smooth, letting you fine tune background music or announcements without over-adjusting. A two-position switch above the knob handles A or B source selection in an instant. Each function is clear at a glance, so even untrained users can make changes confidently.
Installation fits common electrical practice. The controller drops into a standard 1-gang box and accepts a Decora style wall plate to match existing trim. Two RJ-45 ports accept Cat5 cable, allowing power, data, and control to pass through a single run. When several controllers are needed, you can daisy chain them, saving wire and labor. For FreeSpace and PowerShare systems the cable can run up to two thousand feet, giving plenty of flexibility in large venues.
An eight-position DIP switch on the rear lets integrators set channel addressing in seconds. Pre-printed, color matched labels are supplied, making it easy to name each zone or source so anyone walking up to the panel knows exactly what it controls.
This straightforward approach suits restaurants where the dining room needs calmer music than the bar, retail floors that shift between background audio and paging, or houses of worship that want ushers to lower lobby volume during services. Wherever discreet, dependable local control is required, the CC-2 keeps users in charge and the sound system performing at its best.
