This lot of relics were found along a colonial road bed in Opal, Va in 1999
- Enfield lockplate
- really nice flower button (same as buttons found on page 184 of Howard Crouch Civil War Artifacts
- one big flat button with shank, one small flat button and a gold plated medium size flat button
- 1 Eagle R button. Shank is there but missing its back
- one sleeve to a Drummers Boy Buckle
- butt cap to flag pole
- brass Enfield nose cap, top to a muzzle tompion and an iron barrel ban
- small spur buckle, piece of shoulder bar, brass strap guide from a saddle
- 1 lead filled rosette with starburst design (damaged rim)
- assortment of minies.
