If you check my sold listings, you’ll see I’ve owned and taken excellent care of multiple high-end handhelds. The Ally X has been an enjoyable upgrade from my Steam Deck — performance-wise, it’s a fantastic piece of hardware!
However, after a recent experience with ASUS support, I’ve decided this will be my final ASUS product. I’m heading back to the Steam Deck ecosystem, and as a result, I’m parting ways with my Ally X.
Recent Repair & Condition Details:
About 3–4 weeks ago, my Ally X suddenly wouldn’t power on. I opened an RMA with ASUS and sent it in for repair. The issue was resolved with a motherboard replacement, and the device is now fully functional.
