Offered is an antique Ronson "Crown" desk / table lighter, manufactured in Newark, New Jersey, circa 1915–1925.
This is an early Ronson lift-arm style lighter with a heavy cast metal body and original felt base. The underside is clearly marked RONSON / CROWN / TRADE MARK along with U.S. patent information.
Condition & Function:
• Lift-arm mechanism moves correctly
• Does not currently spark or light
• No testing beyond mechanism movement
• Original finish with age-appropriate wear
• Plating loss, surface oxidation, and patina consistent with age
• Felt base present
• No cracks or breaks observed
