Antique guilloche brooch with an open design enameled in turquoise edged with navy blue.
This pin is 1" round. The base looks to be brass.
Overall this pin is in great condition considering its age but there are a few spots where the enamel has been damaged - there is a tiny crack in the turquoise enamel & places where the navy blue enamel has chipped out of the narrow channels (refer to the two photos where I have pointed out the damage).
These areas are very tiny & difficult to see unless magnified but please be aware they are there.
The back has a safety pin type clasp with no locking mechanism (not exactly a C-catch but close).
This is still a lovely brooch & would be a wonderful addition to your jewelry collection.
