Illustrated with 65 illustrations. Printed by Horace Hart, University Press, Oxford.
“The Christmas Books: A Christmas Carol, The Chimes, The Cricket on the Hearth, The Battle of Life, and The Haunted Man appeared in a single volume in 1852. Another edition, with the original plates by the distinguished book and magazine illustrators John Leech and John Tenniel, appeared in 1869.”
Condition is used. There is overall wear to front and back covers and spine including edge wear, rubbing with loss of surface material, soiling and fading. The spine has clear cellophane tape repairs. The front and back endpapers have some staining near top spine and are separating from the spine. Interior pages are in good condition. No writing in book and no offensive odor.
