Beautiful antique British Registered Design picture frame, dating to the late Victorian / early Edwardian period (circa 1890–1910).
This decorative octagonal frame features molded relief detailing with gilt accents, designed to imitate carved wood. The back is clearly stamped:
“BRITISH REGISTERED DESIGN NO. 100332”
The frame retains its original glass and backing and currently holds a charming sepia-toned antique photograph of two women, adding to its period appeal. The photo may be original to the frame, though this cannot be guaranteed.
