This is the 2024 facsimile Whatnot Variant of Amazing Spider-Man 252 which is the first appearance of the alien costume in Amazing. Books is near mint+ (never read) as I have the original (ironically, that one is autographed by Ron Frenz...not for sale in this post but you can ask).
Original book cover is May 1984 and was written by Roger Stern with art by Ron Frenz. This one is from March 2024 and (as mentioned) is signed with a COA by John Beatty with his version of this iconic cover.
