Have a rare 1965 Washington quarter, weighing 5.67 grams, with multiple errors on the lettering. All the lettering on Liberty is touching the rim, as well as the date. Also found an error in the reeded edges where the edge of the quarter straight eye level with Washington, where there is a crack or something inside the coin. Also the top of the reverse side shows an off center strike, leaving the edge undercut from the front, leaving it looking like 2 lines or 2 edges. Also letters on reverse shows signs of die cracking an die subsidence, or strike thru leaving lines in 'quarter dollar.'. And this being the first year of the transition to copper clad.
Found this in my late grandfathers coin collection, an upon further review an talking to a few nuministics about the errors an rarity. Ships next business day upon order, any questions please ask. have a blessed day.
