This is a square salad plate (8”), and a footed cup and saucer set (2 1/4” tall) from Noritake China in their Marcisite pattern. This pattern features a white center, creamy ivory outer area, and gold encrusted scrolls, laurels, and dots. This is a very ornate piece with hints of art deco in it. This pattern was manufactured in 1930 just as the United States was heading into the Great Depression.
